Sunday 8th June 2025 |
We pick you up from our designated pick-up point and travel to Rosslare to catch the morning ferry to Fishguard. We depart Fishguard and continue our journey to Bristol with a stop en route and check into the hotel for our overnight stay. (B&B) | |
Monday 9th June 2025 |
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and travel to the City of Bath for a walking tour for 2 hours. After the walking tour there will be some free time for lunch. We continue our journey to Torquay, otherwise known as the English Riviera! On arrival in this palm tree lined resort there will be time to settle in and perhaps enjoy a stroll before dinner. Tuesday 10th June 2025 |
Today’s excursion takes us on a tour through the Dartmoor National Park where we will visit picture postcard villages like Princetown and Widecombe-in-the-Moor. We will also visit Buckfast Abbey where you can see the working monastery in its beautiful wooded valley beside the River Dart. We soon arrive in Exeter, Devon’s capital located on the River Exe, and we have plenty of free time to explore this fine city full of character and ancient history. Exeter’s Quayside has a lovely atmosphere in which to relax and you can see the historic Customs House and other buildings dating back to Charles II. Return to the hotel. (D, B&B) | |
Wednesday 11th June 2025 |
Today we head to Tintagel on Cornwall’s north coast, renowned for its association with the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. We see the remains of Tintagel Castle. Next, we make our way to Padstow, made famous by the TV chef, Rick Stein. Padstow is situated on the west side of the Camel Estuary and is an area of outstanding natural beauty. We spend some time here then return to the hotel passing Bodmin Moor, the famed haunt of smugglers and home of the ‘Beast of Bodmin. (D, B&B) | |
Thursday 12th June 2025 |
After breakfast we set off for a full day visit to the world-famous Eden Project – a truly ‘global’ garden in a breathtaking location, whose art and architecture draw inspiration from nature. The emphasis here is firmly on the environment and sustainability but Eden is also about simple pleasures enjoying tasty food, taking time to stop and smell the flowers and having a good time! Today’s visit is sure to be an unforgettable experience! Return to the hotel. (D, B&B) | |
Friday 13th June 2025 |
After breakfast this morning we will be checking out of the hotel and you will have free time to explore Torquay. Your driver will offer optional trips to visit Babbacombe Model Village and Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves for those who would like to visit these popular attractions. We will depart Torquay and continue our journey towards Bristol with stops en-route. Check into our hotel for an overnight. Dinner will be at your leisure in Bristol. (B&B) | |
Saturday 14th June 2025 |
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and travel to Fishguard for the afternoon ferry back to Rosslare from where you will be transferred back to your original pick-up point. | Please note terms and conditions apply. |
